(24 Technique Chart)


1. Twirling Wings (Rear-- Two Hand Shoulder Grab)
.
1. An opponent at 6:00 grabs your shoulders with both hands.
2. Step your left foot to 4:30 into a twist stance as you cock your hands at your right hip.
3. Unwind into a left neutral bow facing 6:00 as you utilize torque and execute a left outward block.
4. Continue the flow of motion into a left forward bow as you execute a right inward elbow. The left hand will remain as a left block.
5. Switch. Your right hand will come up high on a vertical plane to check your opponent's arms as you pivot into a left fighting horse stance facing 9:00 as you execute a left inward elbow to your opponent's left ribs.  Note: This is a reach, but can be executed.
6. Step your right foot to 4:30 into a right rear crossover and thrust your left leg into a left reverse bow to buckle out the inside of your opponent's right knee.
7. Execute a left knee kick to the inside of your opponent's right knee. Land into a left front twist stance.
8. Immediately unwind clockwise as you execute a right spinning rear stiff-leg kick up to your opponent's groin.
9. From the right kick, land in a right front crossover towards 10:30 as you simultaneously execute a right back fist to your opponent's face.
10. Continue your crossover and cross out to 10:30.

2. Snapping Twig (Front- Left Hand Chest Push)
.
1. An opponent at 12:00 pushes you in the chest with their left hand.
2. Step your left foot back to 6:00 into a right neutral bow facing 12:00 as you execute a right inward palm strike to the outside your opponent's left elbow as you simultaneously execute a left palm strike to the inside of your opponent's wrist. Note: This strike should create a fulcrum and break the opponent's arm as well as create an angle of cancellation.
3. Immediately following this strike you should hook over your opponent's arm with your right hand and frictionally pull your opponent's left arm down and past your right hip. Simultaneous with this action, pivot into a right forward bow as you execute a left thrusting outward hand sword to your opponent's throat.
4. Pivot back into a right neutral bow as you execute a right raking hammer fist diagonally across your opponent's nose. Note: During this action, your left hand will act as a sliding check down your opponent's left arm.
5. Push drag to 12:00 as you execute a right inward elbow and a left palm strike to your opponent's face.
6. Step your left foot to 12:00 into a left front crossover as you execute a right downward hammer fist to your opponent's groin.
7. Unwind clockwise into a left neutral bow facing 12:00 as you execute a left palm strike to your opponent's chin. Note: Use torque to take full advantage of body momentum.
8. Pivot into a left forward bow facing 12:00 as you execute a right punch to your opponent's left ribs while your left hand positionally checks to the right of your opponent's head.
9. Pivot back into a left neutral bow facing 12:00 as you execute a left back fist to your opponent's head as you again take advantage of torque.
10. Pivot counterclockwise on your left foot as you execute a right knife-edge kick to the inside of your opponent's right knee.
11. Land in a right front crossover and cross out to 7:30.
 

3. Leaping Crane (Front- Right Step Through Punch)
.

1. An opponent from 12:00 comes at you with a right step through punch.
2. Hop towards 1:30 into a transitory one legged stance as you simultaneously execute a left inward parry to your opponent's right arm and a right inward raking middle knuckle strike to your opponent's right ribs.
3. Immediately execute a right knife-edge kick to opponent's right knee.
4. Land in a right neutral bow facing 1:30 utilize gravitational marriage as you execute a right back fist to your opponent's spine. Note: This strike should be vertical and striking down, low enough so their head will come back as they react to the pain.
5. Take advantage of their reaction. Grab your opponent's right shoulder with your left hand and hold them in place as you execute a right inward elbow to your opponent's head. (This allows you to cock your right elbow and get full rotation on the strike.)
6. Circle your right hand clockwise as it ends up against the left side of your opponent's face while your left hand checks the back of your opponent's head at your right shoulder.
7. Without hesitation, shift into a right forward bow as you execute a right claw across your opponent's face as you simultaneously execute a left chop to the back of your opponent's neck. Note: Within this sequence, the effectiveness is based on the combination of opposing force, borrowed force, and a bracing angle.
8. Pivot into a right neutral bow as you execute a right inward hand sword to the right side of your opponent's neck.
9. Continue to flow through this motion as you execute a right front scoop to your opponent's groin followed by a left front kick to your opponent's upper spine.
10. From the point of contact on your left kick drop into a left front crossover stomp onto your opponent's ankle to break it.
11. Slide your left foot to 7:30 where your right foot is. Execute a right front crossover to 3:00 as you execute a left stiff-leg lifting kick up and under your opponent's chin.
12. Plant your left kick towards 10:30 as you pivot into a left front twist stance. Unwind and execute a right round kick to your opponent's head.
13. Execute a right front crossover and cross out to 5:30.

4. Swinging Pendulum (Front- Right Round Kick)

1. An opponent from 12:00 comes at you with a right round kick.
2. From a right neutral bow facing 12:00. Step your left foot to 4:30 into a right neutral bow facing 10:30 as you execute a right inward block and left downward block (Universal Block) to your opponent's knee.
3. As they land, push drag to 10:30 and execute a left upward parry while simultaneously executing a right back hammer fist to your opponent's groin.
4. Step your left foot to 3:00 as you check low with your left hand and execute a right obscure elbow to your opponent's chin.
5. Immediately shoot your right foot back to 12:00 into a right reverse bow to buckle on the inside of your opponent's left leg. Simultaneous with this action, execute a right upward stiff arm strike under your opponent's jaw.
6. Execute a right rear scoop kick to your opponent's groin. Plant to 6:00 into a right neutral bow and immediately switch to a left bow facing 10:30 to buckle to the inside of your opponent's right leg.
7. Pivot counterclockwise into a left neutral bow as you execute a left outward hand sword to your opponent's sternum.
8. Continue pivoting into a left forward bow as you execute a right palm strike to your opponent's jaw.
9. Follow through with your right palm strike so that it grabs to the back of your opponent's neck. As you pull down, execute a right knee kick to your opponent's sternum.
10. Land back into a left neutral bow as you pull your opponent's head down even further with your right hand (anchoring your elbow) while simultaneously executing a left upward stiff arm strike to the underside of your opponent's jaw. Note: You will be applying opposing force and borrowed force here.
11. Execute a right outward claw to the right side of your opponent's face followed by a right inward palm claw to the left side of your opponent's face as your left hand positionally checks at your solar plexus.
12. Execute a left front crossover to 4:30. As you settle into a right rear twist stance execute a left outward hand sword to the left side of your opponent's neck.
13. Cross out to 4:30.
 

5. Crushing Hammer (Rear- Bear Hug; Arms Pinned)

1. An opponent at 6:00 grabs you in a bear hug and pins your arms in the process.
2. As your left hand pins your opponent's left hand, your right snaps in towards your right shoulder.
3. Step your left foot to 9:00 into a horse stance as you take advantage of marriage of gravity and execute a right back hammer fist to your opponent's groin.
4. Pull your right foot to your left into a transitional cat stance. As you do so, bring your right hand up as a waiter's hand / finger whip. Note: This move is to possibly catch your opponent's face; but is also used to set yourself up for the next strike.
5. Step to 4:30 with your right foot into a right reverse bow as you simultaneously execute a right underhand claw to your opponent's groin.
6. Unwind, utilizing torque, as you pivot into a right forward bow facing 4:30. As you pivot, claw up with your right hand, possibly catching them in the chin with a right obscure elbow. Simultaneous with this action, execute a left palm strike to your opponent's right floating ribs.
7. Have both of your hands grab your opponent's knees (left hand to left knee, right to right) lift your opponent's legs off the ground.
8. Have your left hand assist your right hand in grabbing your opponent's right foot. Place your left hand on top of your opponent's toes with your right hand onto your opponent's right heel. Circle your right foot clockwise towards 12:00 as you twist your opponent's right ankle clockwise. (This should sprain as well as possibly break your opponent's right ankle.)
9. Execute a right front crossover stomp kick toward 4:30 to the back of your opponent's right knee.
10. Plant your right foot to the inside of your opponent's right leg and immediately execute a left stomp kick to the back of your opponent's lower spine.
11. Slide your left off your opponent to be near your opponent's left armpit as you immediately execute a right knee drop onto your opponent's left ribs and kidney.
12. Use your right knee drop as a springboard. Bounce clockwise and land on your right foot toward 7:30 to the right of your opponent's head. As you land, execute a left knee drop to the back of your opponent's neck.
13. Drag your left foot across your opponent's back as you head to 7:30. Cock it and execute a left rear kick or stomp to your opponent's head.
14. Cross out to 7:30.
 

6. Captured Leaves (Front- Right Finger Lock)

1. An opponent at 12:00 grabs your right hand fingers. Note: Some people do this technique from 3:00.  Simply adjust your angles from the description.
2. Step your right foot to 12:00 into a right fighting stance as you raise your right hand into the air.
3. Pivot into a right reverse bow and utilize marriage of gravity, sinking into your stance as you pull your opponent's right arm down over your right shoulder with both your right and left hand grabbing. Note: This should break, or hyper extend their arm, causing an angle of cancellation.
4. Pivot counter-clockwise and execute a left back elbow strike to your opponent's ribs.
5. Switch grabs and execute a right back elbow strike to your opponent's ribs.
6. Shoot your right foot to 7:30 into a right reverse bow as you buckle to the inside of your opponent's left knee while maintaining control of your opponent's left hand.
7. Step your left foot to 4:30 into a left front crossover and have your right foot step to 1:30 so that it goes through your opponent's right leg buckling from the inside out.
8. Step to 4:30 as you execute a left crossover stomp kick to your opponent's right knee.
9. Slide and plant your left foot to the inside of your opponent's right knee as you execute a right side kick to your opponent's groin.
10. Land alongside your opponent's right hip and pivot counterclockwise you execute a left slicing knife-edge kick to the underside of your opponent's jaw.
11. As you slide, plant your left foot to the underside of your opponent's right armpit. Immediately step into a right front crossover so that your right foot rakes across your opponent's face.
12. Cross out to 5:30.
 

7. Evading the Storm (Front- Right Step Through Overhead Club)

1. An opponent from 12:00 comes at you with an overhead club swing.
2. Step your left foot to 9:00 as you execute a right extended outward block (palm open as a hand sword).  Step your right foot to 4:30 into a twist stance as you grab your opponent's right hand. Note: Your goal is to get out of the line of attack. You then grab the opponent's wrist for control.
3. Execute a right round kick to your opponent's groin as you pull on their arm.
4. Land forward into a right forward bow facing 1:30 as you execute a left uppercut to your opponent's right kidney or floating ribs.
5. Execute a left knee strike to the outside or back of your opponent's right thigh. Note: This should buckle their leg even further.
6. Land forward with your left leg as you execute a right round knee kick to the inside of your opponent's right thigh.
7. Plant your right foot to 7:30 as you execute a left knife-edge kick to the inside of your opponent's left knee.  (Your right hand maintains the grab on your opponent's right wrist.)
8. Land your left foot to 1:30 into a left neutral bow as you execute a left vertical forearm strike to your opponent's right elbow as you simultaneously pull on your opponent's right wrist. (This should cause a break.)
9. Grab your opponent's hand. (Place your left thumb on the back of your opponent's hand with your palm on the inside of your opponent's hand and have your right hand match this grab.) Step your left foot counterclockwise to 5:30 as you twist your opponent's right wrist counterclockwise to break the wrist.
10. Immediately execute a right round kick to your opponent's face.
11. Cross out to 6:00.
 

8. Charging Ram (Front- Tackle; Opponent's Arms Extended)

1. An opponent at 12:00 comes at you with a tackle. Their arms are extended.
2. From a right neutral bow facing 12:00, step your left foot to 3:00 as you unwind, execute a left downward parry to the inside of your opponent's right arm simultaneous with a right downward parry to the inside of your opponent's right arm.
3. As you settle into a right neutral facing 9:00 in reference to your opponent, execute a right inward hand sword to the back of your opponent's neck.
4. Execute a right front kick to your opponent's face, bringing them up.
5. Land in a right neutral bow. Pivot and execute a left round kick to your opponent's face.
6. Plant your left foot to 1:30 into a left front twist stance. Twist counterclockwise and execute a right downward kick that travels diagonally down to the inside and back of your opponent's left knee.
7. Hop to 10:30, facing 5:30, into a right one legged stance as you execute a left knife-edge kick to the inside of your opponent's right knee.
8. Hop onto your left leg into a left one legged stance as you execute a right front scoop kick to your opponent's groin.
9. Plant your right foot to 12:00. Cross out with a left front crossover to 10:30.
 

9. Parting Wings (Front- Two Hand Push)

1. An opponent at 12:00 pushes you with both hands.
2. Step back to 6:00 with your right foot so you are in a left neutral bow facing 12:00 as you execute a right and left extended outward block at the same time (palms open) to clear away your opponent's arms.
3. Shift into a forward bow as you execute a right palm heel strike your opponent's ribs. [Your left hand should rake across your opponent's eyes and become a check at your chin and prepare form the next strike.] Option: you may instead execute a right inward hand sword.
4. Shift back into a left neutral bow as you execute a left outward hand sword. (Your right hand should be in a ready position for the next strike.)
5. Shift back into your forward bow as you execute a right middle knuckle strike to your opponent's solar plexus. (Your left hand will slide down your opponent's body acting as a gravitational check and clearing away a path for you to strike.)
6. From point of contact of your right middle knuckle, circle your right hand counterclockwise and execute a right inward two finger eye hook followed by a left upward hand sword to your opponent's throat.
7. Instantly execute a left front kick to your opponent's groin followed by a right front kick to your opponent's solar plexus. As you kick, continue your right hand's counterclockwise circle.
8. As you land forward into a right neutral bow, execute a right inward raking hammer fist to the left side of your opponent's nose. (Your left hand will positionally check at your solar plexus.)
9. Step your right foot to 6:00 into a right front crossover as you execute a right back fist to the right side of your opponent's face.
10. Unwind into a left neutral bow as you execute a left back fist to the left side of your opponent's face followed instantly with a right instep kick to your opponent's groin.
11. Plant forward into a right neutral bow as you execute right vertical back knuckle to your opponent's chin.
12. Step into a right front crossover and cross out to 6:00.
 

10. Thundering Hammers (Front- Right Step Through Punch)

1. An opponent from 12:00 comes at you with a right step through punch.
2. Step your left foot to 10:30 into a left neutral bow facing 1:30 as you execute a left inward block to your opponent's right arm. Note: Your right arm will be hanging.
3. Shuffle towards 12:00 utilizing back-up mass as you pivot into a left close kneel and execute a right horizontal bottom fist to your opponent's mid-section. Note: Your left arm will cock high above your in preparation for your opponent's response. Your right knee will check your opponent's right leg and buckle it.
4. Shift into a right close kneel facing 4:30 as your right hand checks across your opponent's back and essentially slaps the back of their head and stopping at their right shoulder. Continue the flow of motion to maximize the marriage of gravity and execute a left inward overhead hammer fist to your opponent's kidneys. Note: Your right hand will be cocked high, your left knee will be putting pressure on the back of your opponent's right knee.
5. Shift back into a left close kneel facing 10:30 as your left hand checks across your opponent's back as you utilize gravitational marriage and execute a right inward overhead hammer fist to your opponent's neck. Note:  Your left knee will again put pressure on the top of your opponent's right kneecap.
6. Step your left foot to 7:30 into a right neutral bow facing 1:30 as your left hand wraps forward to the left side of your opponent's face. Roll their face so it is facing you. As your hand finishes, loop it through and execute a quick right back fist to your opponent's right cheekbone. As you follow through, convert your strike into a right thumb rake across your opponent's eyes. Note: The follow through will cause your right hand to end by your right hip.
7. Push drag to 1:30 as you execute an upward palm strike to your opponent's face.
8. Circle your right hand counterclockwise to the left side of your opponent's face and grab your opponent's chin. Place your right forearm on top of your opponent's head to act as a fulcrum. As your right hand pulls your opponent's chin counterclockwise simultaneously step your left foot to 1:30 into a right neutral bow and have your left hand force your opponent's right shoulder down to turn your opponent's body and force his back onto your right knee.
9. Execute a right inward overhead hammer fist to your opponent's sternum.
10. From your right hammer fist, execute a right inward forearm rake across your opponent's face as you execute a left knee kick to the back of your opponent's head.
11. Plant your left foot back to 1:30 as you force your opponent to fall to the ground. As your opponent lands, execute a right inward downward looping round kick to your opponent's groin.
12. Instantly drop your right knee onto your opponent's solar plexus as you simultaneously execute a right vertical punch down to your opponent's face. (Your left hand will be positionally checking your opponent's right arm.)
13. Step into a right front crossover to 1:30 and cross out.
 

11. Squeezing the Peach (Rear- Bear Hug; Arms Pinned)

1. An opponent at 6:00 grabs you in a bear hug and pins your arms in the process.
2. Step your left foot to 6:00 as your hands (pinned behind you) reach for and grab your opponent's testicles.
3. Step your left foot to 1:30 into a rear cat stance as you pull on your opponent's testicles. Note: This should cause him to release his bear hug.
4. Release your opponent's groin from your grab as you execute a right heel scoop to your opponent's groin. Note: This scoop will pull through and chamber as a raised knee in front of you, hands out in front as well.
5. Step back into a right reverse bow facing 7:30 as you slam your straightened leg into your opponent's right leg, demolishing the kneecap, and simultaneously execute a right outward elbow to your opponent's solar plexus.
6. From the point of contact of your right back elbow, execute a right back hammer fist to your opponent's groin as your left hand positionally checks to the right of your face. Have your right hand go to the right of your opponent's neck and grab it, with your left hand matching it on the left side.
7. Pull forward and force your opponent's head down as you execute a right knee kick up to your opponent's face.
8. From your right knee strike, execute a right knife-edge kick to the inside of your opponent's right knee.
9. From the point of contact of the right kick, plant your right foot to 1:30 as you twist clockwise into a right front twist stance and execute a right rising back fist strike to the underside of your opponent's chin.
10. From your right front twist stance execute a right rear kick to your opponent's solar plexus.
11. With your right foot in the air, jump and rotate your body 180 degrees as you execute a left inward crescent kick to the right side of your opponent's face.
12. Execute a left front crossover and cross out towards 10:30.
 

12. Circling Wing (Rear- Two Hand Choke; Arms Bent)

1. An opponent at 6:00 grabs your neck with both hands. Their arms are bent.
2. Tuck your chin to block any choke attempt as you step you step your left foot to 1:30 into a left neutral bow facing 1:30 as you cock your left fist at your left hip, palm up, and your right arm cocks across your waist.
3. Pivot clockwise, to face 7:30, as you execute a right outward overhead elbow down onto your opponent's right arm.
4. As you complete the pivot into a right forward bow facing 7:30, execute a left hand spear to your opponent's eyes.
5. Pivot into a right neutral bow as you execute a right upward elbow to your opponent's chin. Note: Your left hand should slide down your opponent's right shoulder and end as a pressing check to your opponent's right elbow.
6. Pivot into a right reverse bow as you clear out your opponent's arm with an inward strike. Flow this into a right back hammer fist to your opponent's groin. Note: The reverse bow should buckle out your opponent's left knee.
7. Step your left foot to 5:00 as you grab your opponent's right wrist with your left hand and execute a right back fist to your opponent's face.
8. Pivot clockwise into a left neutral bow as you pull on your opponent's right wrist and simultaneously execute a right claw to the right side of your opponent's face. (The opposing forces creating by the right strike with the left hand pull should add to your own borrowed force.)
9. Place your opponent's right wrist in your right hand as you hop to 4:30 and execute a right knee strike to your opponent's ribs simultaneously with a left inward palm strike to your opponent's right elbow.
10. Plant your right foot back to point of origin and have your left step back to 6:00 as both of your hands grab, jerk, and whip your opponent's right wrist to the left of your body.
11. Release your right hand and execute a right back fist to your opponent's face followed by a right inward elbow to your opponent's jaw.
12. Grab your opponent's wrist again with your right hand and step back to 6:00 as both of your hands whip your opponent's right arm to the right of your body and force your opponent diagonally down to the ground.
13. Execute a left crossover stomp to the back of your opponent's left elbow.
14. Pivot clockwise as you execute a right spinning rear stomp to 1:30 to your opponent's head.
15. Step into a right front crossover and cross out towards 7:30.
 

13. Calming the Storm (Front- Right Step Through Roundhouse Club)

1. An opponent from 12:00 comes at you with a right roundhouse club swing.
2. Step your right foot to 12:00 into a right neutral bow as you simultaneously execute a left extended outward block to the inside of your opponent's forearm and execute a right vertical punch to your opponent's head.  Note: This motion does utilize borrowed force from the opponent.
3. Execute a right palm strike to your opponent's right shoulder and frictionally slide down your opponent's arm, checking it. As you finish the slide, ending at your opponent's forearm, shift into a right forward bow facing 12:00 as you take advantage of torque and execute a left vertical punch to your opponent's solar plexus.
4. Shift back into a right neutral bow as you execute a right back fist to your opponent's right ribs. Note: Your left hand will return as a positional check (waiter's hand) to your opponent's forearm to prevent unintentional moves.
5. Grab your opponent's right wrist with your left hand as you execute a right outward strike to the outside of your opponent's right elbow. As you strike, push out with your left hand to take advantage of opposing forces.
6. Step your right foot back to 6:00 into a left neutral bow as you keep your arms locked.
7. Hold your opponent's right wrist with your left hand as you execute a right back fist to your opponent's right ribs. Circle your right hand counterclockwise as you execute a right inward overhead hammer fist to the back of your opponent's right ribs.
8. Have your right hammer fist slide to your opponent's right armpit as your left foot slides to 4:30 and you push down on your opponent's right armpit with your hammer fist. Have your left hand switch its grab so as to pull diagonally up in order to dislocate your opponent's shoulder.
9. Release your left hand grab as you step your left foot to the left of your opponent's body straddling the body as you drop into a concave stance driving your knees into your and left ribs while simultaneously executing two heel palm strike to your opponent's jaw.
10. Bounce up and execute a right stomp to the back of your opponent's head. Land to the right of your opponent's head and pivot into a right close kneel as you drop your left knee onto the back of your opponent's neck.
11. From your kneel, step into a left front crossover as your left heel rakes across the left side of your opponent's face.
12. Leap to 4:30 into a right one legged stance. Rotate your body counterclockwise and plant your left foot to 4:30.  Cover out to 4:30.
 

14. Darting Mace (Front- towhead Wrist Grab)

1. An opponent at 12:00 grabs your right hand with both hands.
2. Step your left foot to 12:00 into a left neutral bow as you rotate your right wrist clockwise (so you are palm up) and execute a left ricocheting hammer fist to your opponent's wrists. Ricochet into a left back fist to your opponent's face.
3. Utilize marriage of gravity as you sink into your left neutral bow as you execute a left downward forearm strike to your opponent's arms.
4. Pivot into a left forward bow as you execute a right vertical punch to your opponent's solar plexus.
5. Execute a right knee kick to your opponent's groin as you execute a left outward hand sword to your opponent's throat.
6. Land in a right neutral bow facing 12:00 as you execute a right palm strike (fingers pointing to 9:00) to your opponent's face. (Your left hand becomes a sliding check on your opponent's arms.)
7. Step into a left front crossover as your right arm circles counterclockwise as you execute a right outward horizontal hammer fist to your opponent's ribs.
8. Immediately pivot into a left neutral bow as you execute a left hooking claw to the right side of your opponent's face. (Your right arm will be checking horizontally against your opponent's chest.)
9. Pivot counterclockwise into a rotating left front twist stance as you simultaneously execute a right overhead hooking downward diagonal punch to your opponent's left temple / cheek. Immediately convert your punch into a right inward elbow to your opponent's jaw.
10. Pivot back into a left neutral bow as you execute a left uppercut to your opponent's chin.
11. Execute a left front scoop kick to your opponent's groin followed by a right front kick to your opponent's solar plexus.
12. Land in a right front crossover and cross out to 7:30.
 

15. Hooking Wings (Front- towhead Low Push)

1. An opponent at 12:00 comes at you with a two hand low push.
2. Step your left foot back to 6:00 as you pull your right back into a cat stance facing 12:00. As you step back, simultaneously execute right and left outward hooking parries, hooking to the inside of your opponent's wrists. Note: This could also be a grab if you wish.
3. Execute a right front snap kick to your opponent's groin as you continue the motion of your right arm back and behind you.
4. Land in a right neutral bow facing 12:00 as you utilize marriage of gravity and back-up mass and execute a right inward hammer fist across your opponent's nose.
5. Continue the figure-8 motion as you execute a right outward back fist to your opponent's right temple.
6. Shuffle in a bit as you execute a right upward elbow. Note: This adds back-up mass to the strike.
7. Execute a right outward overhead elbow down onto your opponent's sternum as you execute a right overhead claw to your opponent's face.
8. Slide your left foot slightly to 4:30 as you execute a right hook kick to buckle out the inside of your opponent's left knee.
9. Reverse the motion as you execute a right round kick to the inside of your opponent's right knee to buckle it out.
10. Plant your right foot to point of origin and pivot your body counterclockwise so you are facing 4:30 as you execute a right hook kick to your opponent's right kidney or face depending on available targets.
11. Land your right foot to 11:00 and execute a right rear stiff-leg lifting kick to your opponent's groin as you simultaneously execute a right back stiff arm rising claw.
12. Land back in a right front crossover and cross out to 4:30.
 

16. Shield and Sword (Front- Left Step Through Punch)

1. An opponent at 12:00 comes at you with a left step through punch.
2. Step your right foot to 1:30 as you simultaneously execute a left outward parry to the outside of your opponent's punch and cock your right hand high.
3. Pivot into a right neutral bow facing 12:00 as you execute a right inward hand sword to the right side of your opponent's neck.
4. Shift into a right forward bow as you execute a left inward elbow to your opponent's ribs. Note: Your right hand will shift back to check at your opponent's left arm as your left knee checks at your opponent's left knee.
5. Step your left foot to 4:30 into a right neutral bow facing 10:30 as you execute a left outward hooking parry to your opponent's left arm and execute a right inward hammer fist to your opponent's kidney.
6. Execute a right round kick to your opponent's right kidney.
7. Have your foot land for an instant as you shift your left foot to 3:00 and shuffle in towards 10:30 as you execute a right knife-edge kick to the back of your opponent's right knee.
8. Land forward and gauge as you execute a right front scoop kick to your opponent's groin from the rear.
9. Plant and position your left foot for proper angle and distance as you execute a right knife-edge kick to your opponent's spine.
10. Land in a right front crossover and pivot executing a left spinning rear kick to your opponent's tailbone (towards 9:00).
11. Land in a left front crossover and cross out to 1:30.
 

17. Gift in Return (Front- Handshake)

1. An opponent at 12:00 grabs your right hand with their right hand.
2. Step your left to 11:00, just to the outside of your opponent's right leg, into a left neutral bow facing 12:00, as you place your left hand on top of your right hand as you assist by thrusting both hands into your opponent's groin. Note: Your right hand will actually curl into a half fist to your opponent's groin, your left a punch to your opponent's groin, or bladder. Your body will be pressing against your opponent's body in order to check off action.
3. Shift your left hand around behind your opponent's right leg and grab your opponent's right hand as your right foot steps to 10:30 into a left neutral bow facing 4:30. Immediately pull with your left hand as you push against your opponent's right hip. Note: This is all done to put some uncomfortable pressure on your opponent's testicles, cancel out their height zones, and cancel any ability to kick without falling.
4. Execute a right step through knife-edge kick to the back of your opponent's left knee as you release your grab on their hand.
5. Plant your right foot between your opponent's legs and execute a left knee strike to your opponent's tailbone (coccyx.)
6. With your left foot in the air, execute a left knife-edge kick to the back of your opponent's right knee.
7. Step into a left front crossover to 10:30 and pivot clockwise. Execute a right spinning lifting rear kick to your opponent's groin.
8. Gauge as you plant your right foot to 4:30. Without hesitation, step your left foot to 4:30 into a left rear crossover as you execute a right back fist to your opponent's left kidney. (Using marriage of gravity here.)
9. Pivot counterclockwise into a left neutral bow as you execute a left back fist to your opponent's right kidney.  Follow through and without disrupting your movement, step your right foot to 4:30 as you drop into a right wide kneel and execute a right inward overhead hammer fist to your opponent's right kidney.
10. Step into a right front crossover and cross out.
 

18. Bow of Compulsion (Front- Wrist Lock; Against Opponent's Chest)

1. An opponent at 12:00 pins your right hand against their chest.
2. Put your left hand on top of your opponent's pin. Step to 12:00 with your right foot into a right neutral bow. Simultaneously with this step collapse your right arm into a right downward elbow to your opponent's solar plexus or possibly groin.
3. With your left hand still in a diagonal guard position, sink into a right wide kneel stance as you rake down your opponent's body through your opponent's groin.
4. Immediately reverse your motion and execute a right reverse hand sword to your opponent's groin.
5. Sink into a right wide kneel as you execute a right back fist to your opponent's left knee.
6. Following a figure-8 pattern, execute a right punch to your opponent's right knee.
7. Rise from your right wide kneel into a right neutral bow as you execute a right outward raking back fist (which looks like a vertical outward block) to your opponent's nose while your left hand positionally checks at your waist level.
8. Pivot into a right forward bow as you execute a left palm strike to your opponent's solar plexus as your right hand cocks as face level.
9. Pivot back into a right neutral bow as you execute a right inward raking back fist to the left side of your opponent's face.
10. Without disrupting the flow of motion, execute a left outward two finger eye hook followed by a right inward elbow to the left side of your opponent's jaw simultaneously with a left palm strike to give a sandwiching effect.
11. As your right elbow passes through your opponent's jaw, execute a right outward elbow to the right side of your opponent's jaw.
12. As your right outward elbow passes through your opponent's face, execute a right outward claw to your opponent's face followed by a left inward claw to your opponent's face. Follow this with a right downward diagonal claw to your opponent's face.
13. Execute a right front scoop kick to your opponent's groin. Plant back into a right neutral bow as you execute a right downward palm strike to your opponent's solar plexus.
14. Step back into a right front crossover and cross out to 7:30.
 

19. Obstructing the Storm (Front- Right Step Through Overhead Club)

1. An opponent from 12:00 comes at you with a right overhead club swing.
2. Step your left to 10:30 into a left neutral bow facing 12:00 as you execute an upward x-block (right over left) to your opponent's right wrist at a level above your head (to not get hit by the club) as well as off to your right shoulder. Note: This is all to stop the attack as well as get out of the Line of Attack.
3. Grab your opponent's right wrist with your right hand as your left foot steps toward 1:30 (stepping around your opponent's right leg if necessary) into a left neutral bow facing 1:30. Simultaneous with this step, execute a left forearm strike to your opponent's elbow. Note: This strike will start vertically and end rolling horizontally across the joint to bend them over.
4. As your opponent's head snaps forward from the strike, execute a right knee strike to your opponent's head.
5. Plant your right foot back into a left neutral bow facing 1:30. As you do so, grab your opponent's club at the free end to disarm. Execute a right upward strike to your opponent's face.
6. Step your left foot back to 7:30 as you circle your club counterclockwise and execute a right downward strike to the back of your opponent's right elbow. Follow through with this motion.
7. Step your right foot to 9:00 into a right front crossover as you simultaneously circle your right club clockwise and execute a right inward downward club strike to the front of your opponent's right knee.
8. Step your left foot to 10:30 into a left neutral bow stance and instantly pivot clockwise into a right neutral bow as you execute a right outward downward club strike to the back of your opponent's right knee.
9. Push drag to 4:30 as you execute a right underhand club strike to the your opponent's groin (from the rear; the strike executed with wrist snap.)
10. Step your right foot to 10:30 into a right front crossover as you execute a right outward downward club strike to the back of your opponent's head.
11. Continue to cross out towards 10:30.
 

20. Twin Kimono (Front- towhead Lapel Grab; Pushing Out)

1. An opponent at 12:00 grabs your lapel with both hands.
2. Step your left foot back to 6:00 as your right hand cocks at your right hip and your left hand wraps on top of your opponent's wrists.
3. Unwind into a right neutral bow facing 12:00 as you execute a right upward forearm strike to your opponent's elbow joints. Note: Realistically, this technique will probably not break their arms, just hyper extend if you are lucky. This is why we follow up by stepping off.
4. Step your left foot to 4:30 as you execute a right back fist to your opponent's floating ribs. Continue this circular motion.
5. Unwind into a right neutral bow facing 10:30 as you execute a downward forearm strike across your arms.
6. Execute a right outward hand sword to your opponent's throat.
7. Step your left foot to 10:30 into a left front crossover as you execute a left palm strike to your opponent's jaw while your right hand checks both of your opponent's arms.
8. Execute a right knee kick to the inside of your opponent's right knee followed with a right stomp to your opponent's right instep. As you land, execute a right lifting forearm strike to the underside of your opponent's jaw.
9. Step your right foot to 4:30 and immediately step your left foot back into a left front crossover stomp to your opponent's left instep as you simultaneously execute a left inward claw to your opponent's face.
10. Pivot clockwise as you execute a right spinning rear kick to your opponent's face.
11. Land into a right front crossover and cross out to 4:30.
 

21. Sleeper (Front- Right Step Through Punch)

1. An opponent at 12:00 comes at you with a right step through punch.
2. Step your left foot to 10:30 into a left neutral bow as you execute a left inward block to your opponent's right arm. Note: Your right arm is at your side.
3. Shift into a left forward bow as you execute a right upward inward ridge hand (reverse hand sword) to your opponent's throat. Note: You cannot simply hook this strike in. It is more likely to be blocked. If you shoot it up and in, then it is more powerful and more likely to strike.
4. As you step your right foot to 1:30 behind your opponent's right leg into a horse stance, clasp your left hand around your right forearm and scissors them together to cut off your opponent's circulation.
5. Step your left foot to 3:00 into a rear crossover still facing 12:00.
6. As you unwind into a left neutral bow facing 3:00, utilize the pent-up torque and drop your opponent on their back. Note: Maintain control of your opponent's right arm.
7. Sink into a left close kneel, striking your opponent's ribs with your right knee, execute a right vertical punch to your opponent's face. Note: This knee strike should cause their head to come towards you.
8. From point of contact, have your right hand grab your opponent's right shoulder as your left hand assists in getting your opponent to lie face down.
9. Raise up into a left neutral bow and pivot clockwise as you plant your right foot to the right of your opponent's body facing 10:30. Drop into a right close kneel as you drop your left knee onto your opponent's left kidney.
10. Raise up into a right neutral bow and plant your left foot between your opponent's legs to 12:00 (while facing 6:00). [Gauge your left leg to obtain distance.] Pivot counterclockwise as you execute a right downward looping round kick to the back of your opponent's groin.
11. Plant your right foot between your opponent's legs and pivot clockwise to 6:00 while your left foot steps toward 4:30 to be alongside your opponent's left hip. Drop into a left close kneel driving your right knee down onto your opponent's lower spine. Simultaneous with the drop, execute a right palm strike to the back of your opponent's head.
12. Bounce up from your right knee strike with your left foot still in place. Spin clockwise as you execute a right stiff-leg sweep kick into your opponent's head.
13. Step into a right front crossover and cross out towards 1:30.
 

22. Spiraling Twig (Rear- Bear Hug; Arms Free)

1. An opponent at 6:00 grabs you in a bear hug, yet leaves your arms free.
2. Step your right foot to 3:00 into a horse stance facing 12:00 as you execute simultaneous middle knuckle strikes directly down onto your opponent's hands. Note: If the strikes hit, they should release their grab.  If not, execute the elbows from Crashing Wings. Flow into that or keep moving with this technique.
3. Grab your opponent's right wrist with both of your hands. As you do so, lock your arms tight against your body to prevent any action from your opponent.
4. Step your left foot to 1:30 into a front crossover. Immediately spiral to 1:30 with your right foot. You should land in a left neutral bow facing 7:30.
5. As you spiral into this left neutral bow, your hands maintain their position in front of you. As you turn into the left neutral bow, your right elbow should utilize rotational force and turn them over so your opponent is doubled over in front of you.
6. Execute a right rising front kick to your opponent's solar plexus. Note: Your right will release the grab (your left will maintain this) as you cock it behind you at your right hip.
7. Land in a right neutral bow as you execute a right rising back knuckle to your opponent's face.
8. Step into a left rear to 9:00 as you simultaneously execute a right outward raking hammer fist to the right side of your opponent's face (moving from left to right and top to bottom.)
9. As you unwind counterclockwise execute a right inward upward palm claw to the left side of your opponent's face. As you continue to pivot execute a right heel hook to your opponent's face. With your right foot in the air (cocked) execute a right rear kick to your opponent's solar plexus.
10. Plant your right foot to 12:00 gauging distance as you execute a left spinning rear kick to your opponent.
11. Land in a left front crossover and cross out to 12:00.
 

23. Cross of Destruction (Rear- towhead Choke)

1. An opponent at 6:00 grabs your neck with both hands.
2. Step your left foot to 9:00 into a horse stance as you directly grab both of your opponent's hands with both of your hands (right to right and left to left). Note: To protect from a choke, tuck your chin in to your chest.
3. Step your right foot behind your left to 7:30 into a left neutral bow facing 1:30 as you have your left hand cross your opponent's left arm over their right arm. [During this, your left arm pushes and your right arm pulls, making your opponent's right leg stumble forward.]
4. Execute a right front snap kick to the inside of your opponent's right knee.
5. Land in a right neutral bow facing 1:30 as you push out on your right to cause your opponent's left arm to break against their own right arm. Note: In the air, this resembles a vertical back knuckle strike.
6. Slide your left foot slightly to 6:00 and slide your right foot to 7:30 into a right reverse bow to buckle out the inside of your opponent's left knee. As you step, simultaneously circle your right hand counterclockwise.  Execute a right back fist to your opponent's ribs. As you settle into stance, execute a right inverted back fist to the back of your opponent's jaw.
7. Execute a right round kick to the inside of your opponent's right knee to buckle out your opponent's leg. Land to 10:30 into a right front crossover (or a left rear twist stance when regarding your opponent). Simultaneous with this stance, continue to circle your right hand counterclockwise and execute a right downward hammer fist to your opponent's face.
8. Unwind counterclockwise as you execute a left rear scoop kick to your opponent's groin.
9. From the scoop kick, land in a left front crossover and cross out to 10:30.
 

24. Flight to Freedom (Rear- Hammer lock)

1. An opponent at 6:00 locks your right arm behind you; they have their left arm on your shoulder.
2. Step your left foot back to 6:00 as you counter grab your opponent's wrist grab and execute a left outward elbow that is subsequently blocked. What now?
3. Without hesitation, step your left foot to 1:30 into a right reverse cat stance as you straighten your right arm and completely counter grab your opponent's arm.
4. Execute a right rear kick to your opponent's ribs.
5. Land in a right neutral bow facing 7:00 as you pivot your entire body clockwise and twist your opponent's arm clockwise in a tight circle. Note: The torque of the rotations should bend your opponent over. Also, your left hand should become a positional check.
6. Execute a left front kick to your opponent's left inner knee to buckle their knee.
7. Plant your left foot to 10:30. Simultaneous with this plant, utilize marriage of gravity as you execute a left hammering palm strike to your opponent's right elbow joint.
8. Pivot clockwise into a right neutral bow facing 4:30 as you execute a right back fist to your opponent's right kidney. Without a loss of momentum, execute a left knee kick to your opponent's stomach.
9. Plant your left foot and immediately execute a right knee kick to your opponent's chest.
10. With your right foot cocked, execute a right side kick to 7:30 to the inside of your opponent's left knee.
11. Land in a right front crossover and cross out to 1:30.
